An Okanagan local, Courtney completed her B.A. at the University of Victoria, and earned an LL.B from the University of Leicester in the UK. Courtney returned to Kelowna to complete her NCA Certification, articled at a local law firm, and was called to the bar in 2014. Courtney knew she wanted to practice law in the community she knows and loves, and after practicing at another Kelowna firm, she joined Montgomery Miles & Stone as an associate in 2022. Courtney thrives on building lasting relationships with clients, making complex legal processes straightforward and empowering individuals and businesses to succeed.
Courtney brings a wealth of expertise in real estate and business law. Whether it’s guiding clients through a real estate transaction, or helping business owners establish, expand, and sell their businesses, Courtney is passionate about delivering clear, practical legal advice tailored to each client’s unique needs. Alongside her broad business law practice, Courtney has developed a strong focus assisting healthcare professionals with their unique legal needs. Courtney is committed to helping healthcare professionals structure their businesses effectively and navigate their complex business transactions, so they can focus on what they do best—caring for their patients.
In addition to their legal work, Courtney is dedicated to giving back to the community. She volunteers with the KGH Foundation, where she proudly serves as the chair of the Heart of Gold Committee, helping raise critical funds for healthcare initiatives in the region. Outside of work, Courtney can be found playground hopping with her two kids and husband or enjoying the beautiful Okanagan region- especially its renowned food and wine scene.
