Allisa Wu
Allisa grew up in Richmond, BC, before moving to Quebec and Ontario to pursue her undergraduate studies at McGill University and her Dual Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, graduating magna cum laude from her program. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2014, and practiced in Toronto, Ontario as an employment and labour lawyer before returning back to BC and joining Montgomery Miles & Stone as an associate in 2018. In 2021, Allisa joined the Montgomery Miles & Stone partnership and in 2024, she obtained her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, which is an internationally recognized designation awarded to professionals who specialize in trust and estate planning.
Allisa has practiced in both English and Mandarin in Toronto and will further her language capabilities to assist her clients in Kelowna. Her focus practice areas are real estate, wills and estate planning, and business law. Allisa also brings with her, prior experience as an employment litigation lawyer, to assist clients in business transactions, ensuring that their interests are fully protected in all aspects.
Outside of the office, Allisa plans to continue her passion of volunteering and giving back to her community. Allisa is currently the chair of the Philanthropy and Engagement Committee of the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation and is also on the board of the STEP Okanagan Chapter. Allisa is also a proud Rotarian and is part of the Rotary Club of Kelowna Landmark. Outside of the office, Allisa enjoys spending her time with her family and running after her toddler son.
