Alan was born and raised in Quesnel, BC. He obtained his undergraduate degree from UNBC in Prince George, BC in 2011, where he majored in Biology. In 2016, he obtained a law degree from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. He returned to his hometown and articled with a small local firm and was called to the bar in April of 2017. After practicing in his hometown Alan relocated to Kelowna and joined a local solicitor firm. In 2021, Alan joined Montgomery Miles &Stone as an associate.
While Alan has experience in providing clients with both litigation and solicitor services, he now focuses on solicitor work. His practice includes Real Estate, Wills and Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Business Law. His main passion is helping clients in planning their estates and ensuring their loved ones are provided for. His experience in Family Law Litigation helps in planning estates with problematic family members.
Alan’s hobbies include mountain biking, hockey and music. He was a founding member of the TRU Lawggers Hockey Club and the TRU Law School Band “The Dissent”. He enjoys riding and exploring the many spectacular mountain bike trails found throughout the Okanagan and surrounding areas.
